Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Duties: - Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times - Prepare meals and assist with feeding, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and organizing client's living space - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities - Assist with transportation for medical appointments or errands, if required - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor Requirements: - Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of senior care practices and techniques is a plus - Ability to clean and maintain a safe environment for clients - Familiarity with dementia care is beneficial - Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient approach - Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to provide patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism - Knowledge of social work principles is advantageous Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
